The Boxmakers have managed a birth in all semi-finals. The games (and latter the results) are listed below. Again, take note the Monday night game has been moved to Moorabin:

Sunday - H1 - 4pm - vs MUHC White (WIN 4-1)

Monday - MBN - 7:30pm - vs Echo Gold (WIN 4-0)

Tuesday - H1 - 7:30pm - vs Tubbies (WIN 7-1)

The extraordinary heat wave that is expected to engulf Melbourne this week has prompted Hockey Victoria (HV) to take precautionary measures for Summer Outdoor and Indoor hockey competitions. With temperatures forecasted to hover around the 40 degree mark, HV has imposed several discretionary options.

Please Note: HV advises that the official HV Heat Policy that permits HV to call a general cancellation of a round of matches refers only to daytime outdoor games. A general cancellation of matches (currently only the only day that has daytime matches scheduled is Sunday) will be noted by 10.30am on the morning of the match in the section of the website “HV News Alert” (under scrolling photos).

We're nearing the mid-point of the season, and the Boxmakers have continued their fine start to the season, with 11 wins and 1 draw, leaving them at the top of the table in all three competitions! While some of this can be put down to excellent hockey skills, the majority of it has come about through fantastic on and off field team bonding. It cannot be argued that team play has been the dominant factor in the team's success so far!

To celebrate this success we're having a mid-season Christmas Party on Saturday 20th December. All food will be catered for, you just need to provide $5 to Donny before the day, so we can fund the event.
